Apparently a new psychic retreat has opened its doors in Ibiza. As I hate seeing vulnerable or gullible people getting targeted by fakes and money grabbing cheats, I thought I'd post this...(not that I'm saying the psychics of Ibiza are fake money grabbing cheats.....I'd have to be psychic to know that for sure and I don't believe in psychic powers so that would be a bit daft. If ever I find a psychic with real psychic powers I will ask them if the psychics of Ibiza are psychic or not).
(If any psychics reading this are offended and want it removing, all they have to do is post a reply to this stating the four digit number I have written on a piece of paper and hey presto, it's gone!
article.....
Marching along in the endless parade of newspaper headlines, ‘Psychic Unmasked As Fraud’ is hardly going to stand out in history. Indeed, it is right up there with ‘Glove Found On Railings’ and ‘Pope Says He Is A Catholic’.
Yet this week the exposure of Psychic Sally Morgan as perhaps not all she seems caused a surprising ripple across the airwaves and front pages.
Don’t we all just accept that these mediums and psychics are fakes? Obviously no, we do not. We might not exactly be peasants howling at the full moon or daubing chicken blood on our enemies’ homes, but many are clearly not far off it. Which is really quite shocking.
The fraud in the frame this week is my old friend Sally Morgan, the woman who bills herself as ‘Britain’s best-loved psychic’ and who has become fantastically rich on the spoils of her trade.
However, following one of her live shows in Dublin, Sally was forced to deny claims made by audience members that she received instructions from a member of her team via a hidden earpiece. The fans claim to have overheard the aide relaying information to her during the show. ‘Everything he said, she would say ten seconds later,’ one fan told a local radio station.
Mrs Morgan, who has always claimed that she regularly consulted with the late Princess of Wales before her death, has denied it all. She said: ‘I totally respect cynics and sceptics. However, I will not stand by and be accused of fraudulent behaviour from inaccurate sources of information. It’s utter balderdash.’
I’m sure it is! I bet it is total rot. Absolute twaddle. Having been to one of Sally’s shows earlier this year, I know that there is no need for her to resort to such electronic subterfuge. For before each show starts, the audience are invited to write messages and leave details of their bereaved relatives in a giant bowl left in the foyer of each venue.
So it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to work out that Sally doesn’t actually need someone to eavesdrop on audience members, as suggested this week, and relay the information to her through a two-way radio. All she has to do is skim through the letters that the gullible dopes have left for her in the first place. Case closed.
Do psychics and mediums really contact the dead and then deliver messages to their loved ones left here to mourn on Earth? I think not, Watson.
Not once, not ever, not by luck or skill or happenstance, not delivered on a bolt from the blue by Tinker Bell whistling Dixie, not passed on by a blob of shape-shifting ectoplasm swinging down from heaven on a trapeze.
Who does believe in this sort of stuff? Only the lonely, as Roy Orbison might put it. Not to mention the simple-minded, the vulnerable, the distraught and the recently bereaved. And into this vacuum of raw sadness creep the psychics, ghouls ready to ply their greasy trade.
Sally Morgan says that death is not the end; it is the beginning of a journey. Actually, death is not a horizon, it is a slammed door. And try as we might, we can’t get on the other side of that door, unless we die ourselves. Which, of course, we are all going to do, sooner or later
The dead stay dead. They might live on in our hearts and minds, and in the conversations and memories of those who loved them, but you can’t ring them up for a chat. The notion that they pass on advice and messages to their families is a crock.
If they could, surely Diana, Princess of Wales — a great believer in the power of psychics in general and Sally in particular — would have somehow got word to Prince Harry in 2005 that wearing that Nazi uniform to his friend’s birthday party was Not A Good Idea. And surely Diana’s departed loved ones could have sent a message to wear a seat-belt at all times and avoid Paris in August.
Meanwhile, the churches are empty, but Sally’s British tour — which runs until next June — is almost a sell-out. Off she goes in a puff of smoke, performing to millions, preying on the grief and foolishness of those who don’t know any better.
Sally argues that many people are comforted by what she has to say and I am sure that is true. Yet, once comforted, they become customers — and that cannot be healthy.
Many of us are comforted by the youthful claims of expensive face creams, the promise of slimming drinks and big lash mascaras. That does not make them true or right or even legal. The law in this country already forbids Sally Morgan to advertise herself as a medium. Is it time for the law to forbid her full stop?

One million dollars! Why on earth would a psychic who claimed to be genuine NOT apply??? If a psychic in Ibiza does apply to demonstrate their genuine abilities, can they let me know here so we can see if they are the first ever applicants to proceed to 'claimant' status?
Thanks and good luck....you'll need it!

Apparently no psychic has been banned from a casino! I wonder why they're not all playing poker rather than trying to make money the hard way during a finanicial crisis. Hmmm....

Oh dear me. And there I was thinking it was going to be a challenge to turn people into psychic sceptics. Here is the Psychic Retreat Ibiza Youtube channel....
It's amazing how the spirits need the fingers (or several fingers of certain hands) to be positioned at opposite ends or corners of the table rather than all on one side or all in the middle or even just all randomly placed rather than in an equilibrium. But then I'm sure this phenonmenon has nothing to do with momentum. No. This is so spooky it's making me fall to my knees in prayer. **** man! This thing is real! I see dead people! Who's that?! Who are you? Talk to me man! Talk to me don't just spook the hell out of me! What's that you say? Huh? How come the table can't pick itself up again? Holy ****, I never thought of that. Good point! Must have been a weak connection. They need a high speed service installing. The villa's in the campo though.
Let's rock. Come on and rock. We're gonna rock all our blues away. Have you heard the news? Everybody's rockin' tonight. Have you heard the news? Everybody's rocking tonight.

Anyone who values what Ibiza stands for would stand up against blatant trickery, which that video blatantly is. Ibiza is about freedom and that includes freedom from cheats.

Oh my god. I must have been psychic. The people behind this new retreat are involved in Psychic TV or Psychic Interactive, a Sky channel for people to phone in on expensive calls and ask for psychic advice. Psychic Interactive is run by a company called Cellcast UK, which also operates Play2Win, Grab A Grand and The Games Guru.
Do the people who have their half grand a week grabbed know about this I wonder?.
