The Aim of Ibiza Expat

Do a search on the net for 'Ibiza' and page after page will be aimed at assisting holiday makers. Flights, accommodation, best beaches and nightclubs are all covered extensively. However, do a search for 'Ibiza in the winter' or 'Living in Ibiza' and you would think there were only three seasons in Ibiza and that no-one actually lived here. However, there are now over one hundred thousand people living in Ibiza, approximately half of wholm are immigrants to the island. Ibiza has the reputation for being the party capital of the world but, until now, finding out about parties, or even letting people know of them, has been heavily reliant on word of mouth during the winter months or if you are looking for something a bit off the well beaten commerical track.

Ibiza Expat aims to be a portal where English speaking expats from around the world can get answers to frustrating or time consuming problems, or pass on tips to save others the hassle. It's not all 'work' though. There's a private forum for people to promote their own parties, a What's On forum, a buy/sell forum and an events calendar. Members can also promote their work or skills using The Stage and their signatures, or recommend tradesmen and other service providers. It is an all encompassing stop-off point which will hopefully make life easier and more enjoyable for those who chose Ibiza as their home. Ibiza Expat will, as with any community, be reliant on input from its members. The more people put into it, the more people will get out of it.
